from a master of the body in motion as a historic document and as a practical guide to working with body sensation, movement, emotionality, and communication in the theatre, this book can't be beat.
Muy bueno Es un excellente libro, pero es necesario haber tomado clases de la enseƱanza de Lecoq para entederlo mejor.
Wonderful book! A very good book for any person who loves theatre, the real one. Many exercises to learn how to control and then express yourself through your body.
Great for Teachers and Students Superb text. Worked out of this book, page by page with 10 college theatre students. Highly recommend it for academic use and for personal reading. Very solid text helpful in gaining a strong foundation in movement theatre that is rapidly overtaking the mainstream. Many of LeCoq's ideas are visible everywhere in the NY theatre. Pig Iron Theatre Company is a great example of a group of LeCoq trained performers, and is also a resource for learning more, if you are in the Philly/New York area.
