Product Description Lela Buckingham and Maribeth Flaws have developed the most comprehensive text available for the study of molecular diagnostics in the clinical laboratory setting. "Molecular Diagnostics" will give your students the background they need to understand the principles behind diagnostic tests that use molecular techniques. With its grounding in molecular biology and emphasis on the fluid nature of this topic as improved diagnostic technologies emerge, this text is the perfect balance between theory and application.

Figures For a first textbook written for CLS this is very decent but not perfect - looking forward to see the second edition with corrected figures, specifically regarding the position of PCR primers. Interestingly, the instructor's powerpoints have pictures that do not correspond to the same figures in the Text.
Excellent intro or review text Perfect for reviewing to sit for registry exam. The initial chapters are great intro for adding molecular to any general scientific knowledge base. I would ask any one giving this book a less than stellar review to find a better one.
One of the worst-written books ever inflicted on me. The fact that trees were killed for this is a crying shame. The cheesy two-color illustrations do not make up for the writing style, which manages at once to plod and confuse.
Molecular Diagnostics This is a new book, but many of the pages pull right out. There must be a binding problem.
Brand new, delivered faster than expected The book came nicely packed with no bending at all. It arrived 2 weeks before the estimated delivery.
