Network Security Bible The material nicely complements the network security studies in my Cisco Academy courses. I think it will be a very useful book.
Great Book, But.......... This is a great book; it goes in great detail about security in all aspects of the computer industry. However it lacks one critical aspect, how do I do that? Like all network and computer professionals, I do not know everything, so when you tell me I should do something a certain way I'd hope that you will also tell me how to do it. With this book I found myself saying, maybe they will tell me what to do later, over and over, never happens. If you want to buy a book that's a reference manual, this is the one to get. If you are looking for a "how to" as well as a "what to look for" book, consider looking elsewhere.
Excellent I have seen Eric Cole numerous times at SANS conferences. His talks are great, and so is this book of his
You donot want to miss this This book covers in-depth security issues in networks ranging from theoretical aspects, their practical implications to solutions adopted. The authors have done a good job in covering all aspects of security in modern day networks. It is an indispensable handbook for a security professional at any level.
Only the best from the best! This book is a great overall, comprehensive review of network security. It covers a wide variety of issues in detail that security professionals face everyday. The author team is some of the best in the industry and as usual they delivered a great book!
