Wonderful for Beginners I have read some books for flutes with good reviews, this is the best for the price, it has nothing of fluff, color, clip art, and facts not specific to flute. Make sure you buy the book1 which includes the very good DVD, I haven't tried the CD yet. My 9-year-old son and I both are beginners, my son will learn from a good teacher, I think I can just learn from this book for a while as a good start. | ||

Essential Elements 2000 I like the product but would prefer a DVD as in level 1, instead of CD. Also, the CD did not include all of the music in the book, as did level 1, & I am unable to find the optionsl CD's that have the music. | ||
better than some worse than others this book is loaded with fluff, color, clip art, and facts not specific to flute. The small pieces of songs featured on the pages are a nice strat to something that could be done much better. | ||
