Excellent text for learning Intro Biology This was the text used in my college Intro to Biology course. I found it to be an excellent text! For a Biology text, it was easy to understand. The diagrams and models in the book did an excellent job of breaking down concepts and processes into something understandable. There were many diagrams throughout the text, which were a great supplement. I found the online access to be the best part of this text. I didn't like to read the online version of the book (which was available), but I found great benefit in using the online interactive examples. In these, concepts were be explained step-by-step through spoken text and moving diagrams. All important processes that we learned in Biology were explained very thoroughly and understandably through these examples. I also took a lot of the online quizzes, which provided useful and immediate feedback as I reviewed for the exams. The text was incredibly useful for learning and studying in my course. I recommend it for any Intro to Biology course! | ||
