Great Book- but needs better copyediting this book offers an excellent overview of many aspects of psych assessment. it was very helpful in reviewing for quals- but watch out! there are several errors in this book! The specificity of a test is incorrectly explained, as is MMPI-2 TRIN interpretation. Some wierd formatting inconsistencies pop up in the Rorschach section... I don't recommend this book for 1st year grad students who are learning this material for the first time because they won't catch the errors and may learn things incorrectly.
it's okay I had to buy this book for a graduate class. I found some of the writing to be confusing and could be laid out better. I wanted more information in some areas and less in others. Also, the format/layout could be better. There is a lot of useful information as well.
Great Book This was required for my courses and was exclusively used and a great book for information.
