Storyboarding for you A good book to learn about storyboarding. It has great visual examples, a lot of material and a really talented artist. I believe it only lacked more explanation on the types of composition he uses; he usually talks more about how he got to be in the project and why he liked it instead of giving more written tips about storyboarding.
must have ! not only feast to eyes but also some great advice and technic that not found in the other art books
Dream Worlds...Dream Book This is a wonderful book. Filled from the beginning to end with inspiration and beauty. A must for all artists (not just those interested in film). A few quibbles: A previous reviewer complained about the paper. I have to agree. It doesn't feel strong and I have to admit I'm extra careful about turning the pages. Not a lot of text. A collection of art like this deserves a lot more verbiage. I would love to have read a comprehensive interview with Hans Bacher at the beginning or end of the book. So why five stars, after those quibbles? The art. That's why.
Inspirational and beautyfull A great portfolio of inspired production art, with a glimpse at the thinking process behind these great works of art. Great range of styles so there is something for every aspiring concept designer to get their brains into gear.
Inspiring The fantastic imagery in this book was just what I needed to inspire me for my own animation. I recommend it highly as a visual reference for your own animation projects.
