Reviews

Best book out there!
I am in my 2nd semester of nursing and would not be without my Mary Ann Hogan books to help me along. They are very easy to read and understand. My grades have improved a lot since I started studying w/ my Mary Ann Hogan books. Love them!

this series is worth every penny

i am in nursing school, an accelerated program, so I am having to teach myself a lot and pick the most valuable information necessary to learn...this book helps me do that. this entire series of books helps determine the most valuable information within the medical field that nurses need to know. In addition, they highlight the most valuable info on N-clex testing. these books are worth their weight in GOLD.

Fantastic!
This book it really breaks down the information for you. I would first review my textbook and review from this book for my exams. The pre and post tests lets you know your weakest areas and what you have to do is go back and review those in this book. The best part are the disease outlines, the vocabulary is simple the text is concised. Also, the first chapter explain in details about each lab work and differetiates when is normal and abnormal. I got 91.2 in this class!

Med-Surg Review & Rationales
HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK. It is an easy read and pulls the important stuff the instructor is looking for and condenses everything for you. Any book in the Review/Rationale series is a MUST have for nursing students. It is not a replacement for the textbook but when you are overwhelmed and quickly need something to give you the understanding of a concept this book does that. The practice test & rationales are helpful so you can re-train your mind on how to answer nursing exam questions. The more practice problems that can be done the better it is.

nursing
This book was very helpful in my med surg class. Not only do it have questions with each chapter, it also give rationales for the answers.
