This text is appropriate for courses in Introduction to Educational Psychology. This widely used text is known for its exceptionally clear and engaging writing, its in-depth focus on learning, and its extensive concrete applications. Its unique approach helps students understand concepts by encouraging them to examine their own learning and then showing them how to apply these concepts as teachers. The book concentrates on core concepts and principles and gives students an in-depth understanding of the central ideas of educational psychology. Its six chapters on learning, and the large amount of material to help students understand how they themselves learn, differentiates this text from others in the field.

ITEM NOT AS DESCRIBED, WOULD NOT RETURN EMAIL.
Item was not as described. The pages were torn from the binding and the seller would not return emails about condition.

Best Educational book I've read so far!
This book is for my 3rd Education class, and so far it is the best! The author really talks to you (starting around chapter 5/6) like she is sitting at the table with you. She even refers to her own experiences as both a parent and a teacher. The same children resurface throughout the book. Also, she gives concrete examples to help explain her abstract teachings, and she gives specific suggestions in how to use the research and make it work in your classroom. Great book!

Can't Get No Satisfaction
I purchased this textbook under the assumption that it was in good condition however upon recieving it I found that it had extensive water damage, torn pages, damaged binding and writing throughout. I was incredibly dissatisfied with my order.

I bought the book new, the price was great and I received it in a short amount of time.
