The book applies the latest features of Java to develop various data structures, including linked lists, trees, graphs, and networks. An approach to efficient serialization for data structures is included. The book shows how to incorporate advanced data structures in object-oriented programs, and thus promotes understanding of object orientation and how it improves program efficiency. No prior knowledge of Java programming is presupposed, as the book is self-contained with full coverage of data modeling and object-oriented programming in Java. The accompanying CD-ROM includes the source code of all the Java classes presented in the book.

very interesting approach- straight forward but professional This book is a must have for university students....it is a good reference material and the concepts are very clear. teaching data structures in java is as important as in c++... again a must have.....who ever doesnt get his concept clear after reading this book must change his field ..... a must have book
Good and sound book Book for programmers who know Java language well, but still find themselves weak in using it for different data structures. Sound coverage though some may consider incomplete. Easy reading and scientific in look and feel.
poor, poor, very poor extremely bad book. In other words complete waste. I am a cs major and this book was an option for the course. There are so many topics presented in this tiny book and none of the chapters cover particular topic nowhere near as they should. If You are a begginer or a professional this book shouldn't be on Your shelf. It is a waste of money, and even the paper that is written on. I am surprised that a publisher can put something like this out. I guess that is why the author who is originaly from Windsor, Ont would go German based publisher.
Java inside view and innovative Data Structures analysis. A overview of Java and OO, followed by insights into the structure of the JVM and Java classes - that prepare the reader for the analysis of real-time performance of reusable Data Structures implemented in Java. Innovative coverage of Maximum Data Flow in Networks and Object Serialization.
