Good but lack practice solution This book is good if you are beginner, well written of the subject but the main problem is that you cannot really be sure unless the author provides the answer to the question posed, no solution to test your understanding which is a big disappointment given the nature of the subject. | ||
Good, but lacking something This financial accounting book is overall pretty good; it introduces you to accounting very well if you have never taken a course on the subject before. The book has plenty of examples, and uses clear and understandable graphics. One thing I found annoying was that sometimes the pace of the book is very slow, chewing everything out for the reader, then all of a sudden it rushes through a subject, often leaving the reader with no choice but to re-read that section. Also a big problem: there are no solutions to ANY of the problems; this book is obviously not for self-study (or at least you can't test your skills after reading a chapter). | ||
