An Important Topic - An Out-Dated Book Artificial Intelligence (AI) has found many applications in the process industries, so this is becoming an important topic in chemical engineering. Since Artificial Intelligence and its applications have evolved, to remain competitive you need to keep up-to-date with the technology. Be aware that this book was published in 1992, and in 14 years many things have been improved in the field of Advanced Process Control, the primary industrial application area for AI in Chemical Engineering. Not a good buy considering how old it is and its price. I am an Industrial Practitioner of Process Control Engineering, and have been working for more than 16 years as an Instrumentation, Automation, and Process Safety and Control Engineer for the Oil & Gas Industry. | ||
